No Child Forgotten – Dr. Phil

National CASA CEO Michael Piraino was recently in Los Angeles for a taping of the Dr. Phil show. The episode, titled “No Child Forgotten,” will be airing this Friday, October 1, and will focus on the experiences of older foster youth. Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw are national spokespersons for the CASA network and will mention the work of volunteer advocates during the show. CASA of Lafourche’s “Fall for the Cause” Oktoberfest

CASA of Lafourche’s second-annual fundraiser, “Fall for the Cause” Oktoberfest is scheduled from 8 to 11 p.m., October 16 in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Student Union on the Nicholls State University Campus in Thibodaux. There will be a silent auction, Cajun food and a performance from Way Down South. Tickets are $35 and tables are available.

Chili’s Grill and Bar Partners with Louisiana CASA Programs

LACASA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Brinker International, one of the world’s leading casual dining restaurant companies. Chili’s Grill and Bar locations throughout Louisiana will be hosting “restaurant nights”, during the months of November and December, to benefit local CASA programs. Local CASA programs will receive 10% of the sales that are generated from customers who are supporting CASA.
