1st Annual Blue Run

CAS is hosting their 1st Annual Blue Run on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Cate Street Square Park. It’s shaping up to be a great start to Child Abuse Prevention Month.  Click here  for more information.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Preventing child abuse is everyone’s business and several CASA programs throughout Louisiana have planned special events during April to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect.

CASA of Central LA will be hosting their 2nd Annual CASA Awareness Social on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Natchitoches Event Center.  Visit www.casanat.org.

CASA of NELA is hosting “CASA’s Photographer of the Year” Child Abuse Prevention Month Photography Contest.  They want the community to be aware that 45 children in LA died from child abuse last year.  For more information, visit:  www.cfcfnela.org

CASA of West CENLA is inviting the community to “Go Blue with CASA” and wear blue every Wednesday during the month of April to spread awareness.  For more information, visit:  www.casawestcenla.org
