Bikers Against Child Abuse Raises Awareness for National Adoption Month

Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) and several Alexandria area organizations teamed up to host a motorcycle ride to raise awareness for National Adoption Month. Wade Bond, Executive Director of Rapides CASA, spoke at the event. You can read more about the awareness ride in The Town Talk.

CASA New Orleans Hosting Annual “What’s Cookin’ With CASA” event

CASA New Orleans is hosting their annual “What’s Cookin’ With CASA” fundraiser this Thursday at the Riverview Room in Jackson Brewery. The event will feature a cooking demonstration with Chef Drew Dzejak, live entertainment by Gina Brown and Anutha Level and Honorary Chairman Wendell Pierce, native New Orleanian and star of HBO’s “Treme.”
