About the event
Description: Mark your calendars for our CASA Collab session on November 14, 2024, where we will be joined by Sarah Hamilton Berthelot, President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of United Ways. The focus of this session will be on Non-Profit Partnerships and Community Outreach.
What is CASA Collab? CASA Collab, hosted by Louisiana CASA, is a monthly gathering where CASA staff from local programs convene to collaborate, innovate, and learn. It is an opportunity for recruiters, trainers, marketers, and other key staff to connect, share successes, discuss challenges, and explore new ideas in the realm of child advocacy. Each session is designed to provide a space for open discussion, resource sharing, and professional development, with a focus on building a strong statewide network.
What to Expect:
- Expert Insights: For the first 45 minutes, the Louisiana Association of United Ways will lead a roundtable discussion, sharing best practices for building and maintaining non-profit partnerships, as well as effective community outreach strategies. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate and ask questions.
- Engaged Discussion: Following the presentation, there will be a 15-minute internal discussion for Louisiana CASA staff and participants to reflect on the insights provided and explore how to implement them in their local programs.
Who Should Attend: This session is perfect for CASA staff members involved in partnership development, community outreach, and those looking to enhance their collaborative efforts with other organizations.

LAUW is connected with 22 other state United Way associations. Together we are part of a global network of more than 1,800 United Ways, servicing communities in 41 countries.
