Deborah Jones named Louisiana’s CASA Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Deborah Jones for being selected as Louisiana’s CASA Volunteer of the Month!

Deborah is a wife, mother, and grandmother. After living in many areas, she settled down in central Louisiana. Deborah wanted to contribute to her forever community and began volunteering with CASA of CENLA to advocate for local children.

When asked why she chose to become a volunteer, she said she wanted to make a difference in a child’s life and that CASA gives her that opportunity. As for advice for fellow CASA volunteers, Deborah says “don’t hesitate, be yourself, and never think a question you have may be trivial.”

CASA of CENLA staff says “Mrs. Deborah has the biggest heart, she is very dedicated to helping others and she goes above and beyond to make sure things are done”

The mission of Louisiana CASA is to provide a well-trained CASA volunteer to advocate for every child in the judicial system due to abuse or neglect. Our mission would not be possible without the help of people like you.

On behalf of the children we serve, thank you Deborah for your commitment and service.
